There's nothing like a yummy "Chocolate Raspberry Pie" for dinner.
My girls were so excited that we were having pie for dinner after we had a lunch full of sweet things. I think they thought I'd gone insane. The Meatloaf and Potatoes were great! This was another great idea from Family Fun- again I made changes to it.

Go here for my recipe.
By the way, the girls were not as thrilled to have real food disguised as sweets. It's much more fun to expect something normal and get sweets than the other way around.

There's a real lesson to be learned here about "expectations" vs. "reality". Nevertheless-- the meatloaf pie with potato "frosting" was delicious.
Hey Guys! It's Ashley (the "old" nanny in Tennessee) I found your blog and I am so happy I did. I'll love those beautiful girls forever. Aren and I have had to cut out internet while in school, but when I visit my parents I will be sure to visit your blog and comment. Amy, I thrive on green St. Patricks's dinners and April fool dinners, and you have given me great ideas for next year. I love your family. Scott and you are great parents and Jade and Ivy will always be my sweethearts. Aren is surviving school and Jackson and I are having a blast just hanging out togther every day. Chattanooga is a fun place to visit. Hint. Hint. Love ya'll! Ashley
