The difference two years makes...

The past three weekends, Scott and I have labored in the yard. Finally it is starting to feel like it is just about done. But, as I look at the yard, I think, "Dang, all of those plants are so small. When will it start to feel like they show as I pull up or away from the house?" I often think back to our Kentucky house and how pretty I thought the yard was. So, I pulled up pictures. The first is the day before we moved in. The builder did the grass and the bushes.

The second pictures is right before we sold it. The Magnolia had grown nearly double it's size. The bushes all look full and beautiful. So, I guess, I have to have 2 years of patience. I can do that. I think. :)
