Our Newest Toy...

6 years ago, we bought a video camera. During 6 years, we have filled about 4 tapes worth of activities and cute moments of our girls. But... We never watch them. We rarely edit them. We always forget to use it. We've recorded over some of the video we did take. We've had little hands pull apart a tape (which is tragic when you only have 4). So we decided it was time for a change. A change for the better...

We are putting aside our old video recorder and picking up our new Sony HDR- SR11 with a 60 GB hard drive. No more worries about recording over something, or wondering what tape Jade's first steps was recorded on. No more fast forwarding or rewinding. WE'VE GONE DIGITAL! I'm so excited.

Last night, I came home from work, to a dance concert in my family room. The music was blaring and the camera was rolling. The girls had a blast and we got to relive it at the touch of a button. (Okay, I know you watch a video right after, but you have to rewind it and guess if you are in the right spot yet). We'll have to post some of the action soon.
