Day 10 in the "Get Amy Fit" program... 1.8 miles in 24 minutes. The knee injury seems to have really gotten me down. I tried to do some run /walking but my left knee got the best of me. I'm extremely bummed about it. I was actually, dare I say it, enjoying running. I have looked forward to my 25 minutes outside doing something that is supposed to improve my health. I've missed it when I haven't made it out in the morning, and got antsy about not getting to go on Wednesday. I purchased a knee brace for Osgood-Schlatter's but apparently that isn't my problem. I'm going to call and make an appointment on Monday. Until I get the doctor's okay, I'm just going to have to stop running. We'll see how the stationary bike works for me on Monday. I've already tried swimming a bit and that too really hurt. Hopefully there isn't anything seriously wrong with it, but I don't want to keep pushing it, just in case. Bummer!
